According to "The Telegraph", Derby County is close to signing Fiorentina forward Bobby Duncan.
Duncan is Gerrard's cousin, he joined Florence from Liverpool last summer.
At that time, Duncan's agent had stated that Liverpool refused to allow players to transfer to Italy and hurt the players mentally.
Liverpool finally allowed Duncan to complete the transfer to Florence. His transfer fee was 1.8 million pounds and included additional bonus clauses. He signed a three-year contract.
However, Duncan did not get a chance in Florence, and now Viola will allow him to leave the team this summer.
Duncan has returned to England to negotiate with Derbyshire, and Florence is close to negotiating a transfer fee with the Rams.
Duncan may join the Derby County U23 youth team first. If he can perform well in the youth team, he will have a chance to join the first team.
